20 Year Review

Kinetics Controls & Innovation (KCI) Ltd was established on the 4th of March 2002 with the mission of providing engineered leak sealing solutions to aftermarket and ageing facilities within the global oil & gas industry.

We recognised that there was a change in the marketplace: the industry was becoming older and sustaining more than developing. This recognition allowed KCI to introduce technology to maintain safety and production.

Combining both mechanical and chemical engineering expertise, based on past and current equipment ranging from a wide range of applications across the energy industry, KCI quickly established a reputation for excellence in isolation and mechanical tooling.

Our unique products have been introduced across upstream and downstream sectors, including subsea applications and pipelines, with a high success rate. This has allowed KCI to develop not only the North Sea and UKCS, but also internationally.

The past 20 Years have been exciting, allowing KCI and our customers to collaborate on creating products and solutions to applications that are now regarded as industry standard. KCI has maintained a strong focus on research and development, with our R&D division constantly innovating and providing new products to serve the industry’s present and future needs.

As well as developing the latest solutions, the engineering and leadership team at KCI retain a vast base of existing product knowledge and experience, going all the way back to 2002. This ensures our ability to help clients maintain stability across all past and current applications, supporting the changes now occurring within existing facilities and management.

The entire team at KCI would like to thank our past and present customers, around the world, for the challenging and successful opportunities they have provided over the last 20 years. We appreciate their continued collaboration and are committed to continuing to develop and support future applications for the legacy and emerging energy industries.
