Bail him out! He's going behind bars for Maggie's

We’ve got exciting news. Our Managing Director, Kevin Watt, is getting locked up for Maggie’s Aberdeen! On Friday, February 21st, he will participate in an event called Jail or Bail to help fundraise for this incredible cancer support centre.

He has always tried to follow the law, but he is about to be handcuffed and sent down for crimes against grammar and the outrageous charge of Being a Completer Finisher. Can you believe that of him?!

On Friday, February 21st, he’ll be one of the city’s 'most wanted' businesspeople. They’ll go before the formidable Sheriff Tierney before being locked up at a secret location in the city with nothing but his mobiles and laptops. Their challenge is to raise bail to support Maggie and secure their freedom.

As you can imagine, while he’s stuck in his cell, he’ll rely on all the goodwill and generosity he can muster to raise bail. And he hopes that he can count on you. One thing is for sure: he won’t have a get-out-of-jail-free card to play.

Maggie's is a remarkable charity that provides free practical, emotional, and financial support to anyone affected by cancer. With over 50% of the population being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, the support they provide has never been more in demand.

For many people in the North East, Maggie’s Aberdeen is a beacon of hope. It offers a calm, friendly environment where people affected by cancer can find the hope, determination, and resources they need to cope with the challenges they face. It’s an extraordinary resource for people who need support. The centre is set to receive over 10,000 visits in 2025.
