Kevin Makes Bail for Maggie’s Aberdeen

Our Managing Director, Kevin Watt, recently found himself in hot water, but all for a great cause. On Friday, February 21st, he was “locked up” for Maggie’s Aberdeen as part of the Jail or Bail fundraising event, all to support this incredible charity.

Accused of crimes against grammar and the outrageous charge of being a Completer-Finisher, Kevin joined a group of Aberdeen’s ‘most wanted’ business people, facing the formidable Sheriff Tierney before being taken to a secret location.

With only their mobiles and laptops, the ‘jail birds’ had one mission: raise enough bail money to secure their freedom and, more importantly, help keep Maggie’s Aberdeen running.

The event raised an astonishing £76,405.66, enough to fund the centre for five whole weeks and ensure crucial support for those affected by cancer.

Kevin said, “The taste of freedom was sweet, but the real reward is knowing we’ve helped Maggie’s continue its life-changing work. Thank you to everyone who supported this incredible cause!”

Maggie’s Aberdeen is a lifeline for people affected by cancer. It offers free practical, emotional, and financial support in a welcoming space. The centre expects over 10,000 visits in 2025, so fundraising efforts like this make all the difference.
