Overview
BackgroundInstallation of well barriers i.e. deep set and or tubing hanger plugs.
Due to limited barriers within the tree with valve failure which prevents the installation and testing of well intervention equipment i.e. wire line or polished rod lubricator.
Deployment
Deposit a set volume of IBS between two valves and allow the IBS to convert to a solid flexible material which will support pressure testing from above or below.
Removal
Inject a set volume of breaker which will return the solid IBS back to a fluid to be flushed through the system or open both valves and pig the solid material out of the tree.
