The Mac Latch
The object of this design is to offer the best solution in meeting all existing future requirements without limitations.
Hydraulics are used to function the actuator. The control system operates at 24 volts (battery power).
A uniquely designed mechanical latch will maintain and control the
product. Once the actuator is functioned and retained the pressure is
bled down to prevent leakage and fatigue.
A cost effective solution in meeting safety, size, access,
environmental and maintenance on both the actuator and the control
system. This design also incorporates access to communication systems
and solar and wind power support.
Suited to meet sub sea, platforms remote facilities, pipelines, refineries etc.
Replacing continuous hydraulic pressure whilst maintaining control of ESDs supported with low electric power (12 / 24v)
Mac-Latch Gate Valve Actuator:
Subsea/surface ‘ESD’ control system: small & compact.
Mac-Latch Retro-Fit:
Installed/retro-fitted to gate valve actuators without removing actuator from tree / pipeline.
Mac-Controls:
Interfaces with electrics/electronic comm systems : pilots, solar panels, SCADA, etc.
Mac-Latch Technology:
Suitable for ball valves, downhole safety valves, etc
