KCI Limited, a solutions provider to the oil and gas industries specialising in brownfield support products and technology, recently announced its move to a larger complex at Kirkhill Industrial Estate, Dyce.

This new facility is well equipped with offices, purposebuilt training room and media suite, warehouse, workshop and laboratory.
From its location close to Aberdeen Airport the company is well placed to respond to the needs of local, UK and international customers.
KCI’s managing director, Roy MacKenzie said: “KCI’s rapid growth over the last twelve months has resulted in the company’s move.
Working internationally with major operators and service companies KCI is recognised for its innovative approach to brownfield developments with its front end R & D capability coupled with bespoke design and development solutions.
The company’s strength lies in its ability to address each customer’s individual and often complex problems, especially those which have not, or unlikely to, respond to traditional methods or technology.
"By using KCI’s unique approach customers have found that substantial cost savings can be achieved across a wide range of production applications, one example being workovers. Cost efficiency whilst extending the life of mature assets is the key driver of KCI. All products and services are designed and developed to maintain or increase production, minimise downtime and drive down the life-cycle costs associated with brownfield developments".
KCI has also developed products for the greenfield market including an environmental protective coating used to protect new/ageing equipment (surface and subsea) plus a unique subsea insulation material and concept developed specifically to combat 'cold spots'.
Roy MacKenzie concluded: "KCI is constantly challenging traditional thinking on brownfield technology".
